History teaches that antisemitism is a disease which begins with the Jews but does not end with them. Once unleashed, it often turns against other minority groups as well as foundational democratic values. In Antisemitism: What Everyone Needs to Know, longtime CEO of the American Jewish Committee David Harris provides critical insight into what antisemitism is and is not, and above all, how it must be treated as a human rights issue.

David Harris is Executive Vice Chair at the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy. He has been Senior Associate at St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford and a Visiting Scholar at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He has four honorary doctorates including most recently, from Brandeis University.
